I just bought five today.

Tuesday, Feb. 14:

Has proven to be one of those fuckin’ great days. Reasons:

  • My favorite incredibly cute Starbucks barista wished me a happy Valentines Day with free stuff in my favorite drink AND a wink.. Made my morning.
  • Bought 5 books for less than $15 at the Used book store with my patient at work. Because she knows I love books and she’s awesome.
  • Received news about a dear friend of mine getting into SanFranState! I’m incredibly proud of him
  • Heard back from <333333 and I’m flying highhhh~
  • Came back home to this »
  • FABERRY
  • Dinner date with my best friend later on

NPR : Someday This Pain Will Be Useful To You

llibre:

I picked up Someday This Pain Will Be Useful to You, by Peter Cameron, in a bookstore. In the first two pages, in which the narrator refers to his sister as “a bit of a linguistic zealot” and worries about his mother’s announcing “in a disturbing brainwashy way” that she plans to spend her third honeymoon in a city she hates, I was hooked.
